Motivating Monday

I lost sight of doing this blog. It was at the end of a long list, as you can see, I obviously never made it to the end. Nonetheless, I have been motivated to update my blog. I am always transitioning, always learning something from the pitfalls, trials and obstacles in my life. It would be a shame to go through so much and never learn and grow from it.

Scripture - "Let your yes be yes, and your no, no", (James 5:12).

Have you ever walked away from a conversation feeling like you said too much because your mouth was going faster than your brain; or maybe someone asked you a question and you talked so much you never answered the question and forgot what they asked you. Well I have, and I was being nothing but a rambling chatty Kathy.

As a rep for Christ, I must be mindful of how I present myself. Stay focus on what is asked of me, do it and make sure it lines up with what I speak out of my mouth. If you are not true to what you speak then maybe you need a mouth makeover!

Michael Jackson
I am a fan. I was hurt and cried tears and all. I respected him and loved him as an artist. He cannot be denied his contributions nor his talent. But, as the days go by. I am mad. I'm not mad at the media because they are going to do what they are going to do. I'm mad at Michael's allegedly close friends. Apparently, what is being revealed to us is of no shock to some of the artist in the entertainment industry. My question is, why are you commenting on negative things the world doesn't need to know? Lisa Marie Presley did not have to tell the world "Michael thought he would die like Elvis one day."

Quincy Jones is quoted in an interview allegedly stating "Q: But it must've been so disturbing to see Michael's face turn into what it turned into. A: "It's ridiculous, man! Chemical peels and all of it. And I don't understand it. But he obviously didn't want to be black." ------ In that very same interview he also stated, "Our souls were joined, you know. And a piece of it goes with him." We protect those that we love, in life and in death. That's all I'm saying.

Encouraging
I recently attended a service. The theme was "Unstoppable Women". There were multiple guest speakers on the format, but this was not church as usual. The women in this service lived up to the title of being an "Unstoppable Woman". It really turned out to be more of an open forum. As one woman shared her testimony, others were encouraged to share theirs. We went from fearing failure, abortion, prostitution, infidelity, disfigurement, to cancer.

Let me tell you. When this very fragile young lady stood up and said the doctors found cancer cells in her body ----- I'm not even sure the devil knew what he was up against. Immediately the pastor of the house began to pray and when she did, five other women descended on this young girl and began to speak that sickness out in the name of Jesus.

Now, I go to a church where divine healing takes place regularly, because it is the anointing God has given to my Pastor. However, I was moved because the women were on one accord interceding for a woman (some of them didn't even know) and rebuked the attack as if she was their own seed. Everyone was either praying or exalting God to rebuke that sickness out of her body. I believe not only did that young lady get her healing, but many of the rest of us received deliverance on that night. It was a divine appointment for God to encourage, motivate, heal and deliver, all who were present.

How can you expect an incredible God, to do incredible things, if you don't know He thinks your incredible!

Have a motivating Monday! (Smooches)
